Roles and Responsibilities
The Electrical Design Engineer position will provide optimum design solutions for customer applications, designs for manufacturability and cost estimates for quotation purposes based on their designs.
- Produce concept design, Design Schematic, Design Development and Construction Design of electrical (LV and ELV) system as per architect layout, requirement of client and specification
- Produce tender drawing of electrical (Genset, cable containment, socket, lighting, PA, ACC, FAS, CCtV system….
- Provide calculate note, if require
- Prepare shop drawing for submission and resubmission for approval
- Select and prepare some materials for submission
- Contact with supplier to request some quotation and technical documents, if require
- Take off BOQ of of electrical system (Genset, cable containment, socket, lighting, PA, ACC, FAS, CCtV…..system.
- Prepared information regarding design, structure specification, material, color, equipment estimated cost and construction time.
- Consult with the Consultant to determine function and spatial requirement of Architecture/structure/MEP.
- Coordinate closely with plumbing, firefighting, Mechanical, Architect, Structure Team……
- Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawing and specification documents.
- Plan layout of project.
- Prepared scale drawings
- Collaborating with supervisor in preparing the technical report and installation on site.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Prepare Project Schedule Design and Construction.
- Prepare Progress Report, Daily Report, Weekly Report and Monthly Report.
- Prepare Material List.
- Prepare Costing for Biding.
