Qualification and Skills Required

  • A Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field; Master Degree is a plus.
  • More 10 years of progressively responsible experiences, including 5 years in a Project Manager/Construction Manager.
  • Knowledge of Basement, Beam, Super-Structural, MEP, and Architectural Work.
  • Strongly experienced with Microsoft Office, Project Management, internet and email, design software program (Auto Cad 2D & 3D,…).
  • Strong Interpersonal and Technical Skills Which enable to lead, influent, build team and trust, communicate, coach and motivate the team to be more productive with the right decision making.
  • Tech Savvy and Women are strongly encouraged to apply.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Technical:
    • Establish Project parameters including start and co constraints and budget allowances.
    • Establish Project Milestones
    • Ensure and implement Cost Control Measures at all level of the construction sites
    • Contracts administration and control – reconciliation, consolidation and reporting.
    • Day to day resources planning (Men, Materials and Machinery)
    • Coordinate with Clients and Construction Manager/Site Manager for day to day activity
    • Oversee an entire construction project or specific aspects of a larger project.
    • Determine the scheduling of different phases of a project based on established deadlines.
    • Develop the program of work and strategy for making the project happen
    • Plan ahead to prevent problems on site before they occur
  • Management:
    • Must resolve problems that arise due to inclement weather, emergencies or other issues that may cause delays.
    • Communicate with a range of people including the client, subcontractors, suppliers, the public and the workforce
    • To follow/supervise schedule
    • Participate in and provide advice to clients/technical teams
    • Manage and ensure accountability for site staff
  • Administration:
    • Work collaboratively with HR/Admin, Accounting & Finance, Procurement, BDD, Site Team
    • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to coordinate design review
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
