SMCD Celebrated The Ground Breaking Ceremony at AEON Mall Phnom Penh PPC Project Site

Owning to awarding of the subcontract for reinforced concrete works (Zone A) of AEON Mall Phnom Penh PPC Project, SMCD has celebrated the ground breaking ceremony on August 18, 2016 with the presences of Dr. Chea Chandara , CEO of SOMA Construction & Development Co., Ltd, the Project Manager of Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd and the crews. The ground breaking ceremony is the traditional and cultural event of Khmer people dedicated for the spirit in the construction area and the God asking for security, safety and no any force majeure during the construction period.

The second AEON Mall will be a four-story mall covering a 151,000-square-meter floor area in the Pong Peay City Project site in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The mall will house a big-box store, a movie theater, bowling alleys and small shops and other amenities, and its construction is expected to be completed by May 2018.
